Plastic Surgery?

Plastic Surgery isn’t cheating. It’s a choice; it’s an option. Buuuuuuuuut, it’s not for everyone. It’s a PERSONAL decision. I will support either side when it comes to whether or not to have plastic surgery. Working in this field, I’m biased. I see the positive effects for the right individual. Sure, anything can have negatives, but for the right person, there can be large rewards gained by addressing the things that can’t be addressed with diet and exercise.

Some things that make Plastic Surgery a reasonable option:

  • You must have a baseline of good health.
  • This needs to be for you; not for your partner, parent, or friends. YOUR goals.
  • Reasonable expectations. No significant body dysmorphia.
  • Understand that plastic surgery will not “solve” any unrelated problems.
  • Focus on good nutrition, that includes, but is not limited to, adequate protein for optimal healing, nutrient rich diet, consistent hydration.
  • Many surgeries/procedures require patients to be free of nicotine.
  • Find a reputable board certified Plastic Surgeon to consult with and they can both educate you and guide you in decision-making.

Whether or not to have Plastic Surgery is a personal decision. No matter which direction you lean there will be no judgement from me! It’s all about you.
